Download a TLS/SSL certificate from your CertCentral account

After DigiCert issues your TLS/SSL certificate, download it directly to the server with the matching public key—server where you generated the certificate signing request (CSR).

Notice

When saving a certificate file, note the location.

Download certificate

  1. On the server where you want to download the certificate, open a browser and sign in to your CertCentral account.
  2. In your CertCentral account, in the left main menu, click Certificates > Orders .
  3. On the Orders page, in the Order # column, click the Quick View link of the certificate you want to download.
  4. In the Order # details pane (on the right), in the Download Certificate As dropdown, select the certificate format you want to use.

Download a combined certificate file

In the Download Certificate window, under Combined Certificate Files , use one of these options to download the combined SSL/TLS certificate file.

Platform-specific

  1. In the Server Platform dropdown, select the server you will install the SSL certificate on and click Download .
  2. Save the file to your server/workstation.

File type-specific

  1. In the File Type dropdown, select the file format for your SSL/TLS certificate file. Then click Download .
  2. Save the file to your server or workstation.

Download an individual certificate file: server, intermediate, and root

In the Download Certificate window, under Individual Certificate Files , use one of these options to download an individual certificate file.

Server certificate file

  1. Under Certificate , click the Download link.
  2. Save the server certificate file to your server or workstation.

Intermediate certificate file

  1. Under Intermediate Certificate , click the Download link.
  2. Save the intermediate certificate file to your server or workstation.

Root certificate file

  1. Under Root Certificate , click the Download link.
  2. Save the root certificate file to your server or workstation.
